I photograph when I walk.

It allows me to step out of the constant flow of ideas and reactions,
and to return to a quieter form of attention.

Many of the images emerge in fog or around dawn and dusk—
situations where visibility is reduced and certainty becomes fragile.
In these moments, the world does not present itself fully.
It has to be approached.

I notice what my eyes settle on—often without knowing why.
These images are part of an ongoing attempt
to understand how we see, and how this connects to what we already understand.
